Axel

Can Be Reserved and Adopted In February

Apart from his torn up ears which are now old wounds Axel hasn’t got any major health issues thankfully and he is absolutely being spoilt in his foster home

Axel’s foster parents had this to say about him such a sweet boy, and keeps his cage so clean and has mastered using the litter tray

So adorable and one of the goodest of all the boys!

Sunset & Sunshine

Can Be Reserved and Adopted In February

Please meet Sunset, this little girl was in a poor way when she arrived from the woodland rescue. She was extremely thin, covered in wounds, had holes in her ears from previous fights, and had several abscesses. Due to her poor condition we had her scanned to check for pregnancy. She was showing early stages, so this gave us an extra 10 days to build her up before sending her in for spay. She has now been vaccinated and spayed, and is recovering really well. Whilst she was in for her spay the vet also surgically removed the abscesses, she's still on antibiotics but getting brighter every day.

Sunshine, we believe from size and general appearance that Sunshine and Sunset are most likely litter mates. We popped them together whilst we were sorting the woodland rescue buns, and they just instantly cuddled up and fell fast asleep. Sunshine was the most exhausted out of all of the woodland bunnies. She just slept and slept. Again her body condition was extremely poor, she had no weight on her, and was just skin and bone. On scanning her she thankfully showed up as not pregnant, so we were able to hold back on her spay until she was better stabilised. She has now been vaccinated and spayed and is recovering well with Sunset.

Chad & Corbett

Can Be Reserved and Adopted In February

Please meet Chad & Corbett who we have named in honour of the amazing Chaddesley Corbett residents who made the first initial rescue of the 56 bunnies dumped in the woods. They secured them safely overnight and then contacted us in the morning to collect and help them. They absolutely saved these rabbits lives and we are so grateful for their kindnes These two again appear to be siblings. Chad the smoother haired boy had terrible teeth issues, his incisors did not meet correctly and were very overgrown. The boys are in a reasonable condition, apart from the scars particularly on their ears from fighting to protect themselves in their previous living conditions. Chad has had his incisors removed to prevent further issues and both boys have been vaccinated and neutered. They are recovering well and decompressing after the traumatic start to their lives.

Ivy & Holly

Can Be Reserved and Adopted In February

Ivy was the most poorly of all the woodland bunnies. When we first attended she was lying down, and didn't have the energy to move. She was emaciated, covered in wounds and on closer examination had teeth that were so misaligned they were growing out of her mouth making it impossible for her to eat or drink. She also had exceptionally sore and infected hocks. These bunnies are extremely tough, I honestly don't know how some of them have survived. We are extremely happy to say Ivy is a fighter, and has come back with a vengeance! Her wounds have healed, she's gaining weight steadily and we have managed to get her spayed and those awful teeth removed so she will never have to suffer from them again. Ivy will be available with her bonded friend Holly.

Holly, is another bun we haven't posted about up until now as she also was in a terrible condition. Holly was pulled out of the main group and put with Ivy as soon as we got them back to HQ, as she also clearly needed intensive treatment. She again was emaciated and covered in infected wounds including sore and infected hocks. She was so obviously traumatised we weren't sure she'd recover. Thankfully she's also a tough cookie and has made an amazing recovery, she's now vaccinated and spayed. Holly and Ivy are best buds and will be staying together. They both have huge characters that are coming out more by the day.

Buster

Can Be Reserved and Adopted In February

Buster is being spoilt rotten in his foster home, settling in well and gaining weight. He was one of the dumped woodland bunnies, but is in remarkable health all things considered. He has been vaccinated and neutered, and will be able to relax and decompress, before being available to re-home in February.

Lexi

Lexi, is another of the dumped woodland bunnies, as you can see she was emaciated, filthy, had lots of physical injuries and was one of the youngest rabbits. She has now been spayed and vaccinated, and is bouncing back. Unfortunately she is blind in one eye, but that doesn't stop this determined young girl from enjoying everything that life has to offer. She will be available to re-home in February.

Marble

Marble

Three year old male bun, unfortunately Marble has come back to us as he lost his bonded partner. He's a lovely laid back bun and should be a fairly easy bond with a female bun

Marble is fully vaccinated and neutered. He is ready and waiting for his new home and will be grateful to get back out of rescue life.

George
